Hooray for Harpywood is a concert with a conversation that takes a deep dive into how films are scored, from the nuts and bolts of spotting sessions to final dubbing, with an emphasis on the creative harp use in film scores.<\/p>\n
David Ice\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n David Ice holds a unique place in history<\/span>:\u00a0<\/span>he is the only professional harpist who was simultaneously an Oscar<\/span>–<\/span>\u00a0and Emmy<\/span>–<\/span>nominated Hollywood film editor, working on television shows like\u00a0<\/span>M*A*S*<\/span><\/i>H<\/span><\/i>\u00a0and feature films as a sound editor.\u00a0<\/span>He spent nearly a decade at 20<\/span>th\u00a0<\/span>Century<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Fox, where his cutting room was next door to the famed Fox scoring stage.
